Redskin Jelly Shots

Postby Gilesie » Fri Jan 24, 2020 8:50 pm

well I wasn't sure where to put this and this seems as good a place as any.
Done my first TPW and as everyone does I have nothing but good things to say about it.

The Hearts are a wonderful thing :laughing-rolling:

Going to an Aussie day BBQ tomorrow so going to do a lamb roast in the camp oven at a mates place so while we sit around have a drink
and my son says "we should do some jelly shots" whilst speaking of my home brew and I said "it just so happens I have soaked a jar in redskins.."
I guess the rest is history. will let you know how they tasted later on in the weekend

How'd these go? Look like good party starters!

What did you do? I'm thinking a bag of red skins in a litre of 55% (I like my drink on the stronger side) or maybe 90% and water down afterwards?

mine was 40% pretty much done a bag into a liter, let sit for a week then filter (I use a funnel with a strainer in it. seems to work good for this) them mix gelatin as per instruction, I done a 50/50 mix, couple of the guys who tried them said they got a buzz off it.

50/50 = 50% redskin alcohol 50% water approx 20% alc
