preheating next run with Still heat

Not looking at a continuous still but looking at ways to increase my powered efficiency

Anyone tried to increase their power efficiency and reuse the heat they make from cooling the vapours to preheat the next still run mash?
or any other ways of utilising the heat somehow to pre heat the next mash?

Hi B-Man,
Have a look at my heat exchange coil. Output water from PC is run through a coil that is placed in the next wash. Reduces heat up time quite a bit (especially if you have an inefficient and poorly designed PC lol. My store bought pot still was like that)

Cheers

Looks good. I have thought about doing something similar. Was thinking about coming off my RC as that would work harder than the pc?
And going to the second still I plan to make.

My other thoughts were using the hot backset somehow

Gains don't seem to outweigh the reward mostly.
Plan is run during solar times to save on cost. Reuse heat for pre heating and save time doing it.
