Stackable Fermentors

Postby Negan » Tue Aug 06, 2024 3:09 pm

Hi All,

I've been trying to figure out a way i can easily stack fermenting pails without the need of shelving. Came up with a pretty simple solution....I got a handful of the "S style" airlocks and done a few Mods so the have a 90 degree bend so I can mount them on the side of the Pails. To be clear this is something that im wanting mainly due to having limited space. So now I can go upwards instead of outwards.

Not sure if anyone else has done anything similar, but check out the Pics and it should all make sense. The Pails are 20L food grade ones from the big green shed

Enjoy

Just a thought, could just use a blowoff tube instead, separate for all then can go into one jar. Might be a little easier to setup as could get all equipment from the same place. Also would allow for the higher activity ferments to not create a massive mess.
