1.5inch Copper Condenser? Whatchya reckon

Postby Birdman85 » Fri Apr 30, 2021 7:53 pm

I'm about to start making another condenser with 450mm of 2" copper I have spare from my projects.

When I started collecting all my copper I got hold of a few metres of 1inch and 1.5inch tubing.

So my question is.... Would a 600mm long 1.5inch with say... 3x 0.5inch internals make a decent condenser for a CCVM still?

Trying to replace my old girls still for her... Because I can smell hers from a mile away and it's old and cruddy and it worries me.

Yep, will be fine, most likely lots of overkill if theres only 2400w pointed at it.
Try for 4 tubes :teasing-neener:

Could possibly be 2x2400w but only for heat up.

Looks like I have my next project.
