Need a double helix condenser

Postby Bursal » Sat Nov 26, 2011 4:13 pm

Hi

I want to use a double helix condenser in VM head as well as in my pot still. The idea is to use 2" ferrules and triclamps. The trick is the cooling pipes can't come through the end cap on the potstill and the product outlet and breather vent can't be in outer tube on the pot still. My idea is bring the cooling water outet and inlet come through the condenser outer tube before a ferrule and have a ferrule with an end cap that has the breather and product outlet.

I was going to try to wind my own condenser but after looking around the forum I see there are a several distillers who will make them to order. The dimensions are an 7" or 8" double helix in a 2" outer shell. I anyone is interested please send me a PM.

Thanks
