Mollases Rum Recipe Wanted

Hi,
i am interested in making a mollases rum wash.
I have a 25lt tub, and will distill through a SS T500 still. CAn anyone help me out with a recipe.

I may be way off base here but................
I thought running a flavoured wash through a reflux such as the T500 would be a waste of time - it would strip out all the flavour.
A pot still would be better suited to the job.

Yeah Andy you can reflux the shit out of a molasses wash and still retain flavor, some people prefer to make rum through a reflux column ;)

I reckon you could get a nice rum from a T500 with no packing in it.

Thanks for the replies. Should i take all the packing out off the still?
Would i still running a drainage temp of 55-60 degrees?

That would be something of a personal preference depending on your taste, you'll just have to try out different things until you find out what you like most ;)

If you're going to remove packing I would ignore your thermometer and use a parrot, collecting in small (300ml) jars so you can make tight cuts.

im not sure what % your rum would come out but when i done my spirit run on a mollases wash i collected between 92 and 82% and ended up with a very nice rum

You got 82% and 92% using a pot still? Dang how'd u manage that. Or do you mean you got 80 proof and 90 proof
