Hi all

Ive been messing around with a little Cherry number similar to the famous SGD , and I'm just trying to get a handle on the whole photobucket thing .

Hi,

thats pretty much how I do Sloe Gin or Sloe vodka

I do leave it for a good couple of months and it definately improves with age - it also sort of darkens
off to a brown rather than the red colour it initialy has.

Sloes are a lot more bitter than cherries so I have to use a heap more sugar than you have used.

interested to know how much flavour carries over with Cherries !

A lot , but it definately needed the syrup , tired it without and it was just to bitter .
