Thumper. Just looking for input into this. Do you think it will work. Any input would be appreciated

Haven't ever used one but stuff that I've read would suggest insulation to the pipework and boiler would be a good idea.

Nice work. As long as ya steam input wand goes to the bottom of thumper it will be fine.you wont need power to the thumper unless you want to preheat to bring it online faster.

equipment: 2" pot with 2" shotty 400mm long 5x 1/2" on a t500 boiler.
50l keg boiler 4" still mount 4" sight glass 1" drain..
4 plate 4" bubbler, 600mm packed section

Being a pot still insulation is not essential but may give better stability when there is wind around.

Yeah the steam input goes to the bottom. I ran today just with a neutral I made for first run in new equipment. I put heat into the thumper just to get it to temp then switched off. It was pulling 78% for most of the run
