Ok I Guess that not to many if anybody has a conical fermentor and having a guess is not what you want , for your answer to where to place the tap you will probably need to go to a brewing forum , but i am guessing your tap will be quite high up the cone. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

IBC cooling system utilising a 4 inch submersible bore pump.

I would run your first ferment or two in it and siphon it out till you see what the typical level is before sticking a drill through it in a random guessed spot .

equipment: Did use Still Spirits Reflux
Now use 50l Keg with Pot head for Rum and Neutral stripping runs on gas .
LM/VM head with 1m packed 2" on Still Spirits boiler for Neutrals.

pretty sure I got the side valve on mine at about the 20 to 25 litre mark, this allows for roughly 25 litres head space when fermenting for a 100 litre boiler charge if I'm doing UJSM type wash's :handgestures-thumbupleft:
