3" bok v 2" bok on standard keg

Postby maheel » Thu Aug 18, 2011 8:31 am

hey team

how much "faster" would a 3" bok be on production over a 2' on a standard 50mm keg ?

dont really want to weld a 3" ferrule onto a keg (but could have it done)

would also move to a 3" pot as well fro stripping.... and maybe run it on gas for more heat

worth the building or not ?

The 3" DR bok I had was pretty impressive, cant remember exactly how much quicker than 2" but it was better than double.

I had a reducer on it to fit the keg & a slip join below the head.... helps to keep packing in and easy to replace the packing too.

Definately worth the upgrade mate, you'll never regret it ;)

I got a double wound condenser coil here for a 3" that I found today, it's yours if you want it ;)

You could pick it up from Eagle Farm on tuesday arvo if you want.
