I am not that good at brazing/soldering yet. So, sticking to worm tube as condenser, literally just tiny bit over 5m of 10mm worm tube, spiraling in the bucket, while I sort everything else out. I am leaving condenser as last part of the build.

Ok mate what you need is a bog standard blow torch, some bakers soldering flux and a roll of lead free solder, also some scotch brite to polish up the pipe before soldering.

So grab all those items and give it go mate as the only way to learn is by doing it :handgestures-thumbupleft: I am sure there is a "how to" on the forum for soft soldering so get as much info as you can handle on the subject then just give it a go. One tip i will give mate is be anal on the cleaning of the soldering joint as a totally clean joint is needed and use a small paint brush for the flux to avoid drips where solder could stick too. So be anal when applying the solder as it is a pain to get it off later.

Ok now you should have a blow torch so you can anneal copper also on this forum is a " How To" thread on making frustums and mate they are easy as to make but we all have to learn so lets just get the soldering joints done first then we can work on the reducers later.

Mind you once started there is no going back and you WILL be addicted as copper is such a great medium to work with you will wonder what you can make next. Mate when I got the bug not long after all mt funnels are made from copper pipe and even my BD burner I use to heat my still is made of copper. so as you can see the enjoyment of that first build is just the start and as confidence grows the is no end to making things from copper. just be warned :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

I will definitely be making a decent sized condenser soon. I am waiting on getting rest of the setup finished first. I want to grow and I want some head room, as such trying to work out my equipment, as I go.

Back to topic, didn't find any decent keg at liquidation, only few damaged pos kegs, but managed to pickup a virtually brand new but dusty, 25L SS boiler with lid (looks similar to mangrove jacks boiler? and has 48mm hole in lid) for $50 with a t500 SS coloum (minus hoses/valve/etc.). Not sure if I want to use t500, but boiler will let me finish my still, till I can find a decent keg, otherwise I can sell off t500.
