Hi from the ACT

Hi
Thought I had better stop by and introduce myself as I have been lurking and learning since I got myself an AIrStill Pro a couple of months back. Started with the usual sugar wash which I made some ok gin with, then decided to try a Weetbix run. Ended up with a not too bad whisky which was on bourbon chips for about a week.

Also did a oats and bran run which after stripping I ran as a reflux run and then pot stilled with botanicals for more gin as I wanted to try and make a pink gin. I added rhubarb and sugar and it turned out nice but maybe a bit sweet for my taste. Nice pink though.

I now have my 2nd generation of Cornflakes whisky fermenting with the first run sitting on medium American oak from the Stig. Cant wait to find out how it turns out.

Cheers
