Hi to all and thanks to everyone for the information I've received here.
It enabled me to have a trouble free, first time, run of a cornflakes wash.
Recently received my 4" modular pot still from FSD (thanks Andrew) but had to wait until the cornflakes were done.
Last week did first run on a 58 litre keg with about 24l wash in it - beautiful. Having the parrot made life easy and the 240V power controller was a dream. Ran it down to 15% ABV testing by sniffing all the way through with tasting when the acetone was gone.
Good stuff. After mix and match ended with 3 bottles of 36% ABV.
Couldn't wait for ageing so added an SS Rye essence. Pretty damn good.
I'm wondering if a 500mm packed column added to my setup would enable a better finish from a single run.
Thanks again everyone for their input. :)
