G'DAY EVERYONE

Hi to all on this site and what a great site it looks to be for interaction and debate and ideas for the distillers community
as a newbie i plan to gain experiance from others who have greater knowledge of this great hobby i have a fabricating background for the last 18 years and as a mate has got me intrested in this hobby id thawt id attemt on building my own still so with the last coupple weeks of frantic googling have noticed theres a lot to learn and hopfully with great people on here i can do just that
Iam going to start my first still build being a 3INCH BOKA WITH A 50l KEG AS MY BOILER
cheeres to all and hope to have sum fun along the way to this fantastic new hobby

G'day mate I reckon you'll have heaps of fun , I'm just starting to catch the build bug myself . pitty I'm hopeless at metal work :roll: you find all the imfo you'll need here some very smart cookies on here , I ain't one of them though :laughing-rolling:

Hi Caveman,

Good to see you have also been caught up in the excitement, I'm sure your metal working background will help you design and build something you will be proud of. There is plenty of info through the various topics in this forum, and there are also quite a few PDF files you can download and read when you want.

but a trawl through past posts will give you a bit of a clue that apparently not too many forum folk here are incredibly learned re home distillation of essential oils anyway ;-)
