As you all probably have noticed, have finally learnt how to read and have discovered how to add an avatar (the average temp of an alcoengine reflux still product output), and how to add a photo to a post this is the alcoengine reflux still in action, note the output tube has cooling and is obviously the temperature of the still at the point just below the reflux condenser. I'm glad I stopped smoking a few years back LOL

Yeah not sure they are going to give your a condenser for your still.
Good luck though.

I would just use the condenser you already have and run it.

If the still was running correctly you shouldn’t need a product condenser .
There have probably been thousands of these rigs sold, if they were that flawed there would be such an up raw about them but this is the first time we have heard of such an issue

I run one of these stills. (A PD reflux and pot) The product does come out way too hot. (But not as hot as what you are getting) The condensers are too small and really do struggle if you push the unit hard. A power controller will help. Distilling in summer where cooling water input temp is often higher, makes the situation worse.
