New to stilling but not new to making stuff at home, beer, cheese......anyways made a classic rookie move and got a T-500 without doing enough research, hope to learn the craft then will upgrade as the skills grow, all advice welcome.

Welcome rod, plenty of good advice on running a t500 here. Lots of members have made good drinkable booze on their t500 you just need to learn the best way to run it, that is the same for any still, and it’s limitations

Welcome mate.
The T500 isn't so bad, plenty here have made (and still do make) some great booze with one. Many find they quickly outgrow it's capabilities though.
