Welcome Matt
Let the fun and games begin :).
It is a great hobby and can consume hours of ponder time , time where you consider what you might try next. That is called research not day dreaming or lazy lol

Hi Matt,

I also looked up the my vodka maker. Its quite interesting. - I'm dumbfounded by the angst against still automation in the community. (That and plastic)

I would be keen to see some pictures of the insides ....

Its very new with not much information about it.
What I can piece together
Spiral condenser
Packed with ss spp
Multiple take offs
Heat exchange between condenser and input
Low power probably to help control temperature
Three or so stage condenser
Tiny boiler
Air cooling
Continuous input

When it works it will be pretty awesome.

Yeah the names not inspired, but the still is. Or as you say 'magical'.

So your looking at around $800AU for a little 250w air still that can process a 20L wash in a day
