Thanks for the opportunity to learn from all of the experienced members!

I have brewed beers in the past & then moved onto the laziness of getting kegs for my 3-tap kegorator.

Now off the beers, & the missus reckons I should get more hobbies so purchased an Air Still Pro & here we are :happy-partydance:

Since the original 8L wash that comes with the kit, I got a 30L fermenter & have done a couple of stills only in reflux & still using the turbo.

The next sugar wash I will DEFINITELY try the TPW & get away from the turbo & do a stripping run followed by the spirit run taking cuts.

Time to chase more quality & I'll keep on reading & learning from this site!

Cheers

Welcome down The Rabbit Hole!
Constructive Criticism - read A LOT to learn the ABCs.
Then read through Tried & True Recipes - there is a reason they are called that!
Not just a list of ingredients, but a How-To along with years of problems, questions........ and answers.
I'm still feeling my way with a Vevor "Water" Still with a power control added and have been looking for a SIMPLE sugar wash with NO tomato paste. :obscene-birdiedoublered:

I was familiar with Beared & Bored and I ran across this video which is at the top of my To-Do List.
Let's call it a Video Companion to WineO's Sugar that's a Tried & True on EVERY Distilling Forum:
(remember your Air Still is in fact a small pot still)i

So if you're interested read the ENTIRE thread..... then read it again until you know exactly what to do at each step.

In the video B&B adds a very interesting additional step.
(Remember your Air Still is in fact a small pot still and apologies in advance. I'm still trying to figure out the correct way to post a youtube video.)
