looking at a pot still mate, i have a couple of kegs laying round so just need to figure out if i can build one,
or if i will look into buying one.
Was thinking of going electric but now im leaning towards gas.
one thing i was unsure about is the temperature at the top of a still on a spirit run?
i see some people use thermometers and others seem to think its not that important.
just a bit unsure in this area

cheers markus

I'm afraid I'm not much use to you using a pot,5Star or BT1,or numerous others will probly be of more sound knowledge than me :laughing-rolling: The way I see it is a thermo when using a pot is of little consequence,it's more to do with your cuts and the ABV
Though I could be fuckin wrong again :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

Mcstills been putting thermos on his custom pots i guess it's up to the user whether you look at it or not. Give him a pm mate, work out just as cheap as building one if you take into account your time and fuckups.
