Howdy all,

Just popped in to say hi. I live on the south-side of brissy and am going to be getting into home brewing spirits really soon. My dad has been doing it for years and I have decided it is gonna be much more cost effective for me to get into the hobby also. Especially with the vast quantities my partner drinks. hehehe.

I'm inheriting his old still. All i know so far is that its a store bought reflux still. I have no idea what brand it is (haven't actually looked to be honest)
I did have my eye on the t500 which is what he is upgrading to but am really not to sure yet. i figure i'll give his old one a whirl and then when i am used to the process i will then get the t500.

:D

Me personally I'm not a big drinker. I'll have the occasional drink and then its mostly vodka and i do like southern comfort sometimes.
The other half drinks mainly bourbon, vodka and tequila here an there.

Dad mainly makes rum but does do the odd whiskey and bourbons.
