so 2 off 10 litre corny kegs, 2.6kg CO2 bottle, SS beer taps, gas disconnects, duel beer gas reg and all hose and clips to hook it all up, so a turnkey setup for $575.

so whats do you guy's reckon is that a fair price for the setup.

Cheers Bryan

Honestly not that bad price wise. You will soon see how painful bottling really is compared to using kegs. Just be mindful that oxygen exposure can and will ruin your beer in kegs. It will still last 3-6 months easily but much past you may struggle for. Easy solution is to just drink all the beer before then :))

how much do you drink? and do you drink 95% or it at home or take some out?

I ferment 2 lots of beer at once and put it into 2x19l corny kegs and 1 8L oxybar keg.

no wastage and no bottling.
I haven't noticed oxygen spoiling the beer and I don't do anything about purging the oxygen from the keg before I fill it.

It really depends on how much you drink to whether its worth it or not. and if you want to deal with carbonation issues etc if it doesn't "just work"

2 x 9 ltr cornies are around $160:00
2.6kg is around $70:00 - how much are the refills and are they readily available
Regulator is around $70:00
That leaves 275:00 for taps and lines.

What are using to keep them all cold Bryan and would the 20 litre cornies fit in. I started with the 2 x 9 litre option and only used them once. I upgraded to the the 20 litre ones as that is the batch size I use.

The stainless taps where will they be going ? Are they necessary? When starting out the absolute best tap I used was the $5:00 plastic picnic tap, so much easier than the Pluto I got and sits in the cupboard. If you are keeping kegs in fridge along with lines and pouring from inside the fridge just start out with the picnic tap as it is simple.

Steer clear of the flow control taps and just adjust your line length as I could not get flow control to work.

I hope that helps mate
