The price of beer - US vs NZ and AUS

Hi all,

I came across this and thought I would share.

I'm sure we all agree we are being shafted by our government with taxes on alcohol and this article shows great comparison between the USA and Australasia.

Just another reason why home brewing / distilling is an intelligent lifestyle choice and a great 'hobby' (at an average of 14 hours a week I think I should be regarding it as a part time job :? )

One of these days i'm going to go to the States and consume a beer made down the road from me for half the price I'd pay at my local :wtf:
Come to think of it, the money Id save on a years craft beer drinking in the States vs NZ would pay for my flights.... :teasing-tease:
