Postby Bucky » Wed Jul 17, 2013 9:51 am

G'day all,
As the title says im a newbie and i am interested in trying my hand at beer as well as doin spirits. Now my beer of choice is great northern it's the only beer i drink really apart from the occasional TED. Does anyone have the faintest idea of a recipe for something close to a great northern? As i said i know diddly squat about brewing beer.

Cheers guys Bucky

If a TED is around the same as a Northern (never had one) then go buy a home brand can of goo and add sugar :handgestures-thumbupleft:

The hardest thing about doing a Tooheys Extra Dry clone is getting a cat to piss in each bottle first:-)

It's a pretty standard draught recipe. Just get a basic lager kit from the HBS if you're not an all grain brewer.

They use pride of ringwood hops I think?
