Hello all,

Where did the honey notes come from here? Cara pils was only 300gm so struggling with the aroma/intensity.

Hops where stockers Saaz mainly, some Hallertau

Ideas?

My guess is most probably the yeast you used has something to do with it.

Rice always tastes like honey to me, failing that, I would say yeast as well

Ferment temp can play a large part in conjunction with the yeast used :handgestures-thumbupleft:

What temp did you mash at?
A higher temperature might leave some sweetness that could give the perception of honey.
