For cleaning without pulling the spear out the keg you need the following:

Best results
A vessel/tank that holds your cleaning/water/sanitiser liquids
Pump and hoses to go to and from the keg coupler
Keg coupler

Or

Poor results
Gravity fill the keg via funnel and coupler and leave to soak

Or

Ok results
You remove the spear (danger: do not if you don't know how)
Fill keg with cleaning solution and leave to soak
Manually clean the spear and cage

My personal advice is use 19L corny kegs for beer as they have a flip top lid and make cleaning very fast and easy
