WeetBix wash

I have been given a recipe for WB wash, It dos not have Epsom Salts or Citric acid.
Is there a problem if they are not used.

Why not pop into the welcome centre mate and introduce yourself. What you are trying to make etc.
The Epsom salts is used as yeast nutrient, some use it some don’t. The citric acid is used to change the ph of the wash , or invert the sugar. Again this is option.
We have a whole of tried and tested recipes that have been proven to be bullet proof. All recipes are purely guides, much like cooking, and variations will result in different flavours.
Try both and see which you prefer

I never use them, i like keeping things simple and the water where i am is good enough as is and the Weet-Bix have enough added nutrients to keep the yeasties happy.
Never had a failure.

They carry a lot of flavour over if you mash them, I learnt this using Angel yellow yeast.
