Hi Nathan,

It's a brand new thermal blanket from a gas turbine engine we use at work. There are 5 pieces to cover the whole engine, but we only use 2 pieces around combustor and exhaust section. This is the hottest part and they degrade over 16-20K hrs. Of course you can only order the full set! :angry-banghead:

Cheers

Our old doona works fine. Not perfect but cheap and works pretty well just the same. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Edit. As above for elextric only.

Old thread, but a confession.....

Output consistency issue was caused by a blocked parrot vent, I could've sworn I checked it several times! :angry-banghead: :angry-banghead:

What i found in the junction of vent to parrot down tube was a wad of MDF or something wood. I can only assume the manufacturer inserts this to reduce TIG cancer coming through on the inside of the pipe work. Once found I tried removing with a screwdriver, but wouldn't move. I drilled it out and then put a nominal bore sized drill through to clean it out once and for all. All up it cost me $100 to sort this out, $80 for "unwelcome advertiser" 2" to 3/4" vacuum breaker + $20 postage from the fecking theives!

Anyways full steam ahead without any surging or bullshit, just a constant stream we all aim to achieve

Thanks to all who chimed in to assist with these teething issues! :text-thankyoublue:

Cheers

Well, slap my arse and call me Nancy.
I would not have guessed that.
Good find, I'll have to check my parrot.
The mud wasps down here create havoc with any little holes.
All air gear needs plugs/caps.
