That Build for the next dimenstion

G'day Guy's,
Well I have little time before I pack up to get my gear so lets take this to the next dimension

You know how a boiler is away from the column then we have have the tree of plates we can dial in like 12 plates out of 6" then a huge cooling column that condensers the vapours. Then we can dial in the plates that we need right.

Well the only way to learn is to make one right and do in the way anyone can make it.

So what we have is 12 plates we can dial or out and have a plate tree inserted into the column.

Well we can make this out 4" or smaller as the build goes.

But each to it's own as this design will show so if the big can do it so can we.

Cheers Bryan

Have a ponder on doing some internal machining to make the column actually round and then some plates that are bowls with sides machined to fit in loose to medium snug?

Possibly out side edge stilt legs on each plate to skip the central rod drama?

Edit, if only the boro glass tubes were rounder, best glasser ever...

Depends on definition of use ...

The internal roundness is no where near as neat as the outside, there would be an easy +/- .5 to 1mm on a given spot of the internal diameter on 6", the wall thickness listed for any size is the minimum and then theres manufacturing tolerances. It's not a big deal if your going modular or soldering in plates, but if you want to swap stuff in and out easily or squeeze a tree in that doesn't leak - very worth investigating imho
