i bought a 500gm brick in a group buy, thanks wellsy.
it was broken down into 100gm lots, vacuum packed and kept in a fridge.
i'll admit that i haven't been brewing a lot of beer lately and using bakers yeast & YL for most other stuff.
it was 2.5 years old and i'm glad i usually hydrate it first, as nothing was happening.
i had to buy a few sachets of yeast from the HBS.
i got through about 370gms of it, but does anyone know what i can do with 130gm of deceased yeast? :smile:
probably could use it as nutrient?
