how much do you anneal your copper bluc? you will find if you get it red hot and i mean real hot you can bend and manipulate it with your fingers and get it fairly right.
from there a few small taps or even pushes with the fingers around a pipe will work, even a 1/2" pipe or hard drawn copper. if it hardens while working it with fingers hit it again with some heat to bright red and then go again and it will be easy as to bend the copper. anneal as many times as needed. when i started annealing i didnt go to red hot and had trouble flattening and bending copper but once i did go red hot it was sooo easy to bend the copper with a finger. i always go red hot now as in brazing temps or hotter
