Hello everyone, I just thought I'd have a go and ask a question (with pic's included).
So, being the newb that I am, after soldering I forgot to wipe off the excess flux (Eziweld 801 - I think) and after a while I saw the associated oxidation from that. Now I know I can probably soak it in some vinegar mixture etc or hope that the first cleaning run will get rid of it, however my concern is with the SS ferrules which are soldered onto the copper. As they have also rusted a little from the flux. Now is this a problem? Should I try and manually remove it (with some type of bottle brush? if so what kind?) Should I soak it in some acid (even though it would not just be pure copper in there but a combination of copper and ss, will some preferential 'eating' happen?) or should I just leave it for the cleaning run?
