Im probably throwing more than twice that at the keg with the gas, I can get the whole chine glowing red (600+ degrees apparently to get stainless to that color)
I was just working off of the calc numbers and back tracking by the time taken

What you have is an efficiency problem not a kW problem.
Maybe try an empty 44gal drum over the boiler, to act as a shroud, that has been done before to good effect.

I do have a 44 around it, just more to be done.
Been busy lately and needed booze lols

I will update my pot build thread with an update soon as too the issues of too bigger burner

I think it would be a good match to his sized boiler is all, personally i would have to turn the whole house off to get 9kw of juice out of our house wiring on elements, we all have different challenges, watching water boil chews a lot of time

Thinking I might convert it to electric. Mate has a 100l boiler and 2x 2400w elements take home same time to heat as mine on gas. Easier and cheaper I reckon

Not to mention safer.

I hate the idea of an open flame near all that C2H5OH.
