Wine kit brandy

So I bought a wine kit.$64 10l merlot concentrate made 23l at 1.075.

Contents some ec1118 and findings bentonite etc

I added the bentonite but won't bother with any of the other stuff.
I was also given 7x 750ml mixed bottles of red and a bottle of sparkling gabbiano. And I have 2l ginger wine. Going to run lot together will post back with thoughts down the track..

I'm not sure I'd be adding the ginger wine as it may over power the other flavours.
I'd be adding a shot of whisky to a glass of ginger wine while the brandy ages lol

Not like stones ginger wine is homemade and only has a very slight ginger taste. Just tastes like wine to me :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Ended up with 3.37l @ 65%

Nice. What is the aroma like, is it a strong smell or just a feint smell of the grapes?

Pretty neutral actually....hoping some time on oak brings out the aroma /flavour...

equipment: Eve - 4" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (sieve plates), 330 mm packed section on a keg boiler with 2 x 2000 W elements.
Currently having a makeover: 2" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (1" bubble caps, no sight glasses...maybe not for much longer!) on a bain-marie boiler.

Sippin from last bottle of this. Mighty nice thick syrupy and full flavoured.
Any brandy fans give this a go. It aint cheap but is very nice. :handgestures-thumbupleft:
