I have just found out that Tim Ebert, the inventor and maker of his Electric Parrot has ceased production.
His is due to him not being able to source some of the parts for his parrot,
Does anyone know of a similar product?
It is able to sense the alcohol in the vapour path and determine the ABV.

I haven't seen any info on the Tim Ebert version of the electric parrot. Do you have a link to it? I was looking at the www.5stardistilling.com.au verson but it's not exactly cheap, may work as a replacement if needed though...?

To overcome the need to run an electronic parrot You can just measure the temperature of the vapour very accurately.
This temperature relates directly to ABV via the table based on the work of Herminio M Brau.
The table has a temperature column and two other columns which give you an ABV of the liquid or vapour temperature.
There is NODE-RED module that will display an ABV for you if you input a temperature measured by a DS18B20 temp sensor.
I have a parrot using this is based on a Raspberry Pi 4 and works quite well on the bench.
