The element draws 2400W of power 10 Amps at 240V, the controller is rated to handle 4000W of power draw so will not be overloaded. Simple.

I can see where the confusion was. It read like he was going to have a 4000w and a 2400w element. Now it's all cleared up it makes sense :handgestures-thumbupleft:

equipment: 118L SS boiler with a copper 4 Inch, 8 bubble plated column and a 650mm packed section complete with a carterhead and gin basket.
35L SS boiler with a copper 2 Inch pelican pot and gin basket.

To clear it up.
I will be running a 2400w heating element . and a FSB 10 amp 4000w controller , Hopefully it makes sense now.
And i found a Sparky that can hook it all up . Hopefully there will be no Chernobyl
