AD searchIm wanting to put a guard over my elements by using some pipe with end caps as an element guard. I did some mock ups. Will this work?

Trying to do this with PVC ,,, not a fan of having the second most conductive material as a guard ,,,,
using 40mm PVC and cap, adding heat to make i maluable will post pics tomorrow ;)
