You need to slow the out put down to about a toothpick. It may taste ok and you might be happy with it but a pot still smears the fractions and as i have found slowing the take off rate will increase the hearts cut.
Its up to you how harsh your cuts are and what you are happy with. ;-) :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I drilled a hole in my 30 litre boiler and threw in a 900w element.

That gives me 2900w to bring the wash to the boil, then back off to 900w for the spirit run.

Works for me.

I wouldn't go there mate it will work but for how long is the question, an SSR from all I have read is the most reliable.

Have a look under the circuit board and you should find that both of the neutral connections are connected directly by a big solder track.

The Ac input goes in at the left of connector (back of device) so the two inner connections will be your neutral (Blue) lead and both outer connections will be Active (Brown) lead

and the right connection are output. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

And don't forget to earth it on the screw to the left of connection block ,

Choice is up to you mate, for me I would put a 240v socket to your lead or box it is less hassle when moving stuff around.

I have panel mount 240 v 15a sockets that I am going to use that way the controller only has one cable. :handgestures-thumbupleft:
