Hi, I am new here so please excuse me if I am in the wrong area.
We have a spirit maker still that keeps re setting.
Would anyone know why its doing this?

what do you mean by resetting? and when is it doing this?

It switches off at about 28c and we have to push the reset button.
This has happened the last two times we have used it

essentially the boiler is thinking that there is no liquid in the boiler. it switches off when it gets too hot to prevent damaging the element. the sensor could be on the fritz or the still could be struggling if its run in an already warm environment
