Hi guys. Made my parrot and tested for leaks and all tight :dance:

Cleaning runs tomorrow then off to brew shops for ingredients for a mccwhisky :D

Cleaning run done and no leaks :-D :D

Timed my output and i know it was only a vinegar run but i collected 1lt in 11 minutes :D does this sound correct :think:

When it started it sounded like a bloody steam train :scared-eek: adjusted my water flow and it stopped :-D did i do the correct thing

Nice job you've done there Smbjk.

That sounds about right ( 1liter in 11min)

I hope that wet stuff on the ground isn't going to be Alcohol next run :naughty: . Tell me its water ;-)

What sort of gas burner are you using ?

equipment: Did use Still Spirits Reflux
Now use 50l Keg with Pot head for Rum and Neutral stripping runs on gas .
LM/VM head with 1m packed 2" on Still Spirits boiler for Neutrals.

Yeah its water :laughing-rolling: condenser was huffing at start and I thought I had the hoses around the wrong way!, but it turned out I have my water flow too high 8-}

I have a 3 ring burner with adjustable regulator. I will also be making a better parrot stand when I do my first strip run :-D

Just done strip run. Ran pretty easy for first atempt got about 11lt p/h could have gone faster if it turned the heat up higher. Did a 43lt charge of macwhisky and ended with 21 lt 40% low wines. Pretty happy :D might do a spirit run tonight

Hi is the rim on the bottom of your still house the gas burner and is it acting like a shroud?
