Thanks for the tips fellas.

My soldering job is by no means neat. But like others have said by the end you improve a whole lot.

It makes me want to build another one already!

OK so the still head is done!!!! :music-deathmetal: :dance:

The keg is going to a mate during the week to get the elements, fill port and drain tap put in.

Once this is all done ill get my electrician mate to come around and wire everything up and away i go.

When its all up and running will do a vinegar run and make sure all is clean and leak free, but pretty keen to run a whiskey through to maiden it. Any suggestions on recipes?

got was just made a T&P (Tried and Proven recipe) inside the forum you will find a T&P section, plenty of AG recipes, Washes and all sorts there.


the Cornflake Whiskey (CFW) is one im giving a shot. i can't comment on what it's like, though from the reports it's a very easy and good recipe.

the ingredients are all supermarket, cheap and it's very easy to make... no malting needed just cook'er'up and away you go !
