Longer column or shotgun

I have a 500mm, 400mm & 100mm length of 2" copper pipe, 2 metres of 1/2", 2 x 90 elbows & an end cap.
Am I better off using the 500mm length for the column & 400mm for shotgun condenser or go the other way round with 400mm column & 500mm shotgun?
They will be sitting on a 50 litre keg boiler.

400mm shottie will be fine mine is only 300 and knocks back a 4" bubbler.

BTW for interest, a FSD PC is 400mm
