My first build

Postby Hick1960 » Mon Nov 08, 2021 12:52 pm

Hi all,
Just finished my Liebig condenser and 2 inch column to fit to my t500 boiler. This is my first attempt at building anything still related and I’m pretty happy with the result. I’ve just run 2 cleaning runs through it, a vinegar run and a sac run. No leaks and it performed perfectly. I’ve attached a power controller purchased from 5 Star which also worked perfectly. Looking forward to making up a rum wash now to run through it.
Any recommendations on what would be an easy wash for my first run would be appreciated.

it doesn't get much easier than the macstill rum in the Tried and Proven section.
but there are a few others, when you get the hang of it.

Well done mate :handgestures-thumbupleft:

The 50/50 mcrum is a great starter

Run all the tried and true and go from there. A 100% corn version of the bkwo is my backstop :obscene-drinkingdrunk:

Its amazing the difference to store bought, i wasn't much of a rum drinker before :D
