you will be able to get something 100X better for that price.

I have a 50L keg boiler and a copper pot still head and it cost less then that.

have a chat to jayD is my suggestion

Hi noname,
The boiler itself is quite a good unit and similar/same as a t500 or pure distiller unit,
And can be upgraded with one of those reflux columns or a custom pot still head later.
But if you want to upgrade to a bubbler type in the future that boiler may not be be strong enough to support the weight of a bubbler column.
The Pot still head as supplied is too short to be truly useful IMHO
Instead I would Suggest a simple 2inch pot still head with a liebig or shotgun condenser mounted on a 50l keg via a 2inch triclamp as this will give you the biggest bang for your buck and be able to grow with you as you profess in this hobby.
Hope this helps.

Hi Noname

http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/190901743835

I've been using this one on my t500 boiler direct fit just need attachments for water inlet/outlet from bunnings real nice built still and produces real nice product

Also using a $50 2000w Ebay light dimmer to control temp at 900w for spirit run the t500 boiler has a 1800w element

Hope this helps and happy brewing

Ps it doesn't come all shiney either just raw copper this is a mates and he has used the picture

hmm no I don't like it , Look that is $360 postage included for a to be honest pretty crappy still head and a boiler with an element that has have the wattage my kitchen kettle has.If you upgrade to the 2000 wt element you are looking at around $400 all up and you still have a shitful still head that has what looks to be 1 inch column with about 3" of effective hight and a 1/2" leibig and no lynne arm to speak of. not to mention I can't see any copper in the distillate path. This sounds like a lot of money for not much. if you're really hung up on that boiler you can get them cheaper from ebay or any home brew shop than that

Does help if you express your thoughts in more than a few words so the OP knows what you are trying to get across, pretty hard to read someone's mind over the Internet :handgestures-thumbupleft:
