rolloutthebarrel want $350 for a 20l Oak maturing barrel + $20 courier to Sydney
I think I'll be in front if I buy 2 @ 90 from the US + $140 postage = $320
It would be nice to support the locals but two for less than the price of one locally seems hard to beat!

After recently looking around for an oak barrel I have noticed that a brass tap is very common even on whiskey ageing barrels.
Could someone please confirm my suspicions

Most here will say preferably not. Up to you ultimately. Ask for a stainless or timber tap. They might oblige.
