Can anyone tell me if zinc is harmful to your health if used in a keg boiler?

Dont use zinc. Buy stainless rivnuts.

Stainless/ glass/ copper for anything above wash mash.

Food grade Hdpe for fermenter is ok..

Zinc plating contains chromium and other unwanted substances. Your acidic wash will (gradually) leach these substances into solution.
Zinc plated nuts will also setup a "galvanic couple" with the stainless keg causing the nuts to corrode quite quickly.
