Rang around for 3' 90 bend today.
Macanns plumbing yarraville~$15
Western plumbing supplies Williamstown~$34
Reece Newport~$45
Asked the dude at Reece if he could match macanns price, just kept saying $15....$15...really...$15 :laughing-rolling: . Said he couldn't do it but I'm welcome to come in and talk to one of the managers about it, I'm not applying for a home loan for christs sake!.

Jlol 12many, most of there stuff has kembla written on it, so its good stuff. Not happy with there large reducers though, there not a very good fit, hence why I had trouble with my build. Every thing else ive brought there has been top notch though. Jus wish they did tube by the metre :angry-banghead:

Just in case anyone is still looking for copper tube for easy flanges, try looking at ebay, there is actually quite a bit on there now.
1/4" 5m for $25
3/8" 5m for $30
And so on.

Not too bad really, postage is a little much but i guess it is a fairly heavy item.

Thanks mate,
I need some new 1/4" stuff to try and finish off modifying my first build about 2 years after I said I would do it!
I'd probably go to Auburn and pick it up from that guy.
Unless anyone knows any copper suppliers for 1/4" in the West Sydney/ Blue Mountains area that is cheap enough? Everywhere else like tradelink don't sell it per/m anymore, only in big rolls.

Scrap metal yard at Blacktown gets a bucket load of copper there. They won't tell you what they have over the phone though, just gotta drop in and hope for the best. They had a lot of 1/4" up to 2", but they crushed the bigger stuff just before I got there. Good luck

Other than mentioned one above some good options for scrap in this thread - $10-12 a kg was going price pre covid, but the price of copper has dropped since, dunno how its going in the yards now

Hello mate. Yes, Makit Hardware at 4 Vulcan Road in Canning Vale are good to go. Feel a bit out of place not being a plumber while in there, but I've managed to fumble my way around get what I need there a few times now.
