Piss In Mac's Pocket

Postby Cane Toad » Sat Sep 10, 2011 9:20 pm

Honestly fellas, these things are GOOD! I loaded the boiler and fired up the gas at 5.50pm on the dot with a 100l charge of UJSM 4th gen. At 8.45pm I have the sugar inverting with the backset ,the boiler drained and cleaned out   and stipped down to 20ABV. Now if that ain't fukn good I'll suffer the rough end of the pineapple :o It's all thanks to Mac,poor old prick is layin in bed feelin up the young nurses :laughing-rolling: got me wonderin what a 6 or 8"er would be capable of   may have to pay a visit to Xstrata me thinks......Stay tuned as there is 2 lots of 200l of molasses wash on the cards tomorrow

Cheers
All this typing has made me thirsty :laughing-rolling:

FARK

Nice work. Shit your burner must put some heat out, how long does it take for 100L to boil?

any chance of a pic of your boiler? Where did you get it? a 100 - 120l boiler would be sweet!

Hi Croz, the boiler I made myself....well sort of,I aquired a length of ss pipe from a local business that was 700 mm in diameter by 2mm thick and welded a top and bottom in it with a1" drain and 4" ss ferule. Then I built a stand out of 25mm angle and there you have it.I must admit though I stuffed up with my calculations on the capacity of the bloody thing....was aiming for around the 250l mark but turns out it's a bit over 300l...oh well perfect for a 200l molasses wash :laughing-rolling:

Go tap him on the shoulder :teasing-neener:
