Is there any way to filter out the yeast and spent yeast from the wash? The reason I ask is that I have to transport the finished wash to a mates to run it off, and I don't want to wait to let it resettle if I don't really have too. :shifty:
equipment: Did use Still Spirits Reflux Now use 50l Keg with Pot head for Rum and Neutral stripping runs on gas . LM/VM head with 1m packed 2" on Still Spirits boiler for Neutrals.
You could add finings/gelatine to help get the yeast out of suspension before siphoning if you are short on time :handgestures-thumbupleft: :handgestures-thumbupleft:

half a tablespoon of gellatin in a warm cup of water, drop it into the wash and give it a slight stir, you will find that within half an hour all the yeast drops right to the bottom and hardly moves when you move the fermenter... You could do this at your mates place after moving it...
